Nanushka is looking for a Corporate/Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team in Budapest. This is an exciting opportunity to experience and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

We are looking for a Corporate/Commercial Legal Counsel to join our Business Support department to be responsible for:

  • Providing expert and strategic legal advice to management
  • Providing general corporate law advice and corporate housekeeping regarding all our business fields
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, legal briefs and documents
  • Interacting and working with the company's departments on diverse legal issues
  • Handling ongoing legal matters

Essential skills & requirements:

  • 1-2 years post-bar exam experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer/legal counsel in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer/legal counsel
  • Team player, hard worker, dynamic personality
  • Fluent English is essential for the ability to review and draft English language contracts and communicate with management
  • Precision in legal drafting and business communication
  • Knowledge of contract law and practice from a civil law perspective
  • Ability to assess legal risks in the context of the deal and the wider business, and balance these with commercial needs
  • Comfortable operating within an international environment with a diversity of cultures
  • Experience in IP law is an advantage
