Group Downstream Value Chain Management - Optimization and Scheduling invites applications for the position of

Rail Capacity Scheduler

who will be the mastermind behind rail fleet allocation, short term and long term Rail Tank Car capacity planning — making sure every drop gets where it needs to be.

This role is all about smart scheduling, quick problem‑solving, and optimizing performance. If you thrive on logistics challenges, love turning complex supply chains into smooth operations, and want to play a key role in powering MOL Group's success, we want you on board.

The main responsibilities:

Contribute to group-level short‑ and mid‑term rail capacity planning in partnership with Logistics, representing group Value Chain Management organizations

Prepare daily fleet allocation schedules for selected product groups, ensuring alignment with asset and market demands; propose solutions when capacity is insufficient, considering margin impact

Maintain transparent reporting on group fleet capacity

Support monitoring of rail fleet operations and utilization performance; identify improvement areas and initiate actions to enhance service levels and margin contribution

Manage operational topics related to rail capacity planning and scheduling

Requirements:

Higher education degree in Economics or Engineering

SCM/Logistics experience (preferably 2+ years)

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Team player attitude, Agile mindset

Business drive, Stakeholder/client focus

Fluent English and Hungarian knowledge

Excellent command of Microsoft Office software
