Mission

Outcome obsessed with reaching Opella's ambition about OTIF and cash optimization, you will be responsible to lead a team who builds and maintain a reliable and optimized 36-month supply and inventory plan for the portfolio of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO's) in Europe

The role ensures that Opella's Affiliates and Distributors receive products on time, in full (OTIF), and without excess inventory. Acting as a strategic interface between production sites and markets DCs.

Main responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of End-to-End S&I Planners for CMO's.

• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives aligned with global planning strategy.

• Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.

Planning Strategy & Execution

• Oversee the delivery of 36-month supply and inventory planification of a scope of manufacturing sites

• Ensure robust MPS & RCCP, capacity analysis and inventory optimization

• Drive the implementation of planning and inventory strategies as well as continuous improvements in coordination with his/her stakeholders.

• Develop supply plan scenarios to support critical business decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary interface between the manufacturing sites, (Site Head, SC, Production…) the markets supply chain teams to increase the overall performance of Opella in term of service and inventory planning

• Support the IBP process, deploy supply constraints and lead the Supply Reviews & Weekly S&OEs for his/her scope of CMO's.

• Facilitate alignment between supply, demand, and financial objectives.

 Performance & Process Excellence

• Monitor and improve KPIs: service level, inventory targets, production adherence, and planning accuracy.

• Support COE to develop process improvements initiatives.

• Ensure data integrity and system performance (Kinaxis, SAP) across the planning landscape.

• Lead or contribute to global initiatives, including business & digital transformation, multisource strategies, and crisis management

 About you

Experience

- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in SC planning, including team leadership.

- Proven track record in prod. planning, inventory management, & S&OP/IBP

Technical Skills

- Strong command of planning systems (Kinaxis, SAP), MS suite

- Solid understanding of MPS, MRP, inventory policies, & SC master data

 Behavioural Competencies

- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service and agility

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented

- Ability to lead in a matrix and multicultural environment

Languages

Fluent in English.
