Material Warehouse Supervisor

Our partner company is one of the two largest glassware manufacturers in the world and ranks among the five largest producers of glass packaging and flat glass. As part of their latest greenfield project, they are building a production facility in Kaposvár.

We are looking for a
Material Warehouse Supervisor
to join our Team.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or similar
• Ideally 5+ year of experience in a similar position from a manufacturing, production facility (manufacturing, prod facility)
• SAP knowledge and experience is an advantage
• Confident knowledge of English - it will be used daily
• Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
• People management experience and ability to manage different all types of people from blue to grey collar
• Ability to adapt to changes and handle them proactively

JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team to lead daily operations in the material warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You'll work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support production, and optimize warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Assign tasks and supervise warehouse staff to meet operational needs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and support planning and production.
• Manage ramp plans and reservations in the system.
• Monitor stock levels and lead periodic inventory counts.
• Handle product returns, damaged goods, and scrap processes.
• Optimize space utilization and warehouse efficiency using EWM.
• Lead KPI reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring fair workload distribution.
• Maintain strong communication with the team and Supply Chain Manager.
