Job Description

We build a new international Data Engineering team for a long-term project in the housing domain and we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer.

Details:

• Start: September / October 2025

• Full-time, long-term

• Remote-first / Hybrid (Budapest office optional – 1138 Dunavirág u.)

• Employee or Contractor model available

• International collaboration with the UK team; no travel required

Role Highlights:

• Team Lead & Scrum Master role – lead a 6-person engineering team

• Strong blend of DevOps and Data Engineering expertise

• Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL

• Experience with monitoring/alerting frameworks and Power BI

• Knowledge of MDM implications across structured & unstructured data

Project Info:

• Based in the housing sector (UK client)

• Focus on building robust data models & reporting solutions

• Ongoing Qlik to Power BI migration
