Overview:

Supply Chain Raw Material Planner | Hybrid  | Celanese Budapest

As a Supply Chain Raw Material Planner at Celanese, you'll balance tactical and strategic supply/demand/inventory for our Engineered Materials (EM) business. You'll collaborate across functions to optimize supply chains, analyze complex problems, and implement solutions aligned with business goals. This role offers excellent exposure to commercial functions within our EM business line.



Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize daily and long-term supply/demand balance for EM products through collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, Business Management, and Finance teams
  • Develop and maintain production and inventory plans based on strategic targets
  • Provide input on Constrained Consensus and Demand Forecasts based on supply constraints
  • Maintain critical planning parameters in SAP (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels)
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations balancing cost, service levels, and business imperatives
  • Collaborate with Network Optimization teams to establish inventory targets aligned with network capabilities
  • Provide accurate raw material forecasts to procurement teams and monthly inventory projections
  • Maintain SAP Material Master Data (MRP1-4) and serve as backup for other EM Raw Material Planners


Qualifications:

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in raw material planning, production scheduling, or procurement operations
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SAP, GIB tools, and advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Ability to translate technical information to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with MRP scheduling and inventory management
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and market conditions
  • Innovative mindset that challenges status quo to improve inventory efficiencies
  • Resilient problem-solver who overcomes obstacles to deliver results
  • Decisive with ability to manage conflicts constructively
  • Skilled at scenario planning and managing uncertainty
