Your Mission in a Glimpse:

As a Financial Accountant at Bit Soft, your primary responsibility is to ensure accurate financial records and compliant operations of the company Bit Soft Hu Kft. You'll handle daily accounting tasks, ensure compliance with fiscal regulations, prepare tax declarations, and collaborate across departments to maintain accurate financial reporting. You'll be a key figure in driving efficiency, structure, and compliance in our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Records

  • Record day-to-day financial operations for the company
  • Process supplier invoices, payment settlements, and cash reimbursements.
  • Register bank statements and ensure proper classification of transactions.
  • Prepare and issue client invoices as required.
  • Track projects and contracts for financial accuracy and alignment with reporting requirements.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit monthly fiscal reports
  • Ensure compliance with current fiscal legislation and internal accounting policies.
  • Maintain evidence of advance income and expenses, preparing monthly reconciliations.
  • Verify VAT journals (purchase and sales ledgers) to ensure proper tax reporting.

Internal Reporting & Documentation

  • Provide weekly reports on financial and operational indicators to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor account balances and document deviations or inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to the accurate and timely closing of monthly and yearly financials.

What we are looking for:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or economist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
  • Attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude toward compliance and improvement.
  • High levels of accuracy, responsibility, and professional integrity.
  • Hungarian native level fluency.
  • Advanced English skills required.
  • Knowledge of Romanian is preferred but not required.
