Payments Processing Junior Specialist

Join us as a Payments Processing Junior Specialist and you will be responsible for executing complex cash transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Custody Operations team and Treasury. You will also act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, cash investigations and liquidity handling for large Financial Institutional clients in relation with their HUF cash corresponding banking activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers, which include processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, and reconciled effectively
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors
• Contribute to and collaborate with cash and trade operations projects as needed
• Develop comprehension of how the cash and trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives

Ideal background:

• bachelor's degree in finance or economics or equivalent experience in financial sector
• excellent communication skills in English and Hungarian
• analytical skills
• advantages:
• internship in banking or finance or experience in cash processing
• knowledge of SWIFT system and messages (especially MX pacs.008/009 messages and their MT equivalents MT103/202)
• previous work experience with banking systems
• fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations
