Job DescriptionDepartment and Project
This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.
Main tasks
As a DevOps Engineer You
- Execute tasks from a backlog tool, including change requests from customers or internal teams
- Initially focus on automated setup and integration of all components and interfaces
- Maintain, operate, and debug enterprise tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and support tickets
- Assist users with application-related issues
- Integrate data sources into dashboards and log archives
- Develop and apply predictive analytics and analyze time-series data
- Write and maintain runbooks and operational manuals
- Monitor system health and performance
- Conduct root cause analyses for recurring issues
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Qualifications
Background and required skills:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
- 3+ years of DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Experience with OpenShift 4.x
- Experience with Linux/RHEL
- Experience with developing operators using Python and Golang
- Experience with Helm Charts and ArgoCD
- Experience with Splunk
- Experience with Grafana
- Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.
Advantage:
- German is a plus
- Knowledge in agile
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with database management tools and monitoring solutions.
- Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- High personal commitment to taking over hotlines / on-call duties.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence
