About the role

As an
HR Generalist
at Taxually, you'll take ownership of the full employee lifecycle and ensure a smooth, compliant, and engaging experience for our people.

You'll act as the main HR contact for our Hungary-based team, supporting both employees and managers in daily operations, while continuously improving our HR processes and contributing to company-wide initiatives.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an HR Generalist position
  • Full ownership of the entire employee life cycle, including:
  • Onboarding and employment contract creation
  • Probation period follow-up
  • Handling employment contract modifications
  • Offboarding and conducting exit interviews
  • Preparation of payroll processes, cooperation with external payroll partners
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Labor Code and related legal regulations
  • Experience in HR administration and documentation processes, in both digital and paper-based systems

What skills will be useful

  • Independent work – able to manage daily HR operations in a structured way without external supervision
  • Process management – managing onboarding, internal policies, data change handling, and record keeping
  • Legal compliance – precise, error-free administration, meeting deadlines, readiness for internal audits
  • Internal stakeholder management – effective cooperation with managers and employees
  • System usage – proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and HR systems
  • Proactivity and problem sensitivity – capable of identifying and resolving HR-related operational issues
  • Confident command of English: handling HR documents, contracts, and internal policies in English, supporting English-language onboarding processes, active communication with international colleagues, written and spoken English fluency for reporting and collaboration
