Tasks

  • Contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions used across Hungary and international markets.
  • Work as part of an excellent, highly skilled team of motivated developers and business analysts.
  • Implement enterprise-grade features using Java technologies (Java EE).
  • Write and test code following TDD/BDD methodologies.
  • Adhere to clean code principles and maintain a high standard of code quality.
  • Identify and build automation opportunities (e.g., with Jenkins).
  • Develop integrations with external systems using SOAP and REST interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with internal IT teams and financial institution partners.
  • Participate in estimation, documentation, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Take an active role in Agile ceremonies and team workflows.

Expectations

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Interest in Agile methodologies.
  • 2+ years of professional Java development experience (including Java SE) in an application server environment.
  • Solid understanding of SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Java SE.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
  • Strong logical and structural thinking abilities.
  • Team-player attitude and collaborative mindset.

  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments.
  • Oracle Java Programmer Certification(s).
