IT Procurement Demand Manager

Job Description
The IT Procurement Demand Manager plays a crucial internal-facing role, representing IT Procurement and Vendor Management organization (ITPVM) to requesters of ITPVM services within a specific category vertically and specific Tier 1 vendors horizontally across the organization. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, translating them into actionable plans, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to ITPVM strategies, inventory management, and production planning.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Key internal facing role representing organization towards requestor of ITPVM services.

• Develops accurate demand forecasts for the assigned category and assigned Tier 1 vendors, considering factors such as market trends, news, seasonality, and internal business plans.

• Translate demand requirements and forecasts into actionable plans, including inventory management, budget planning, and ITPVM strategies.
• In collaboration with business stakeholder teams assessing overlaps of existing solutions vs requested incremental demand, gatekeeping proliferation of similar products/services in the environment.

• Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand accuracy, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.

• Work closely with stakeholders across ITPVM, and business organizations to ensure alignment on demand plans and approve Business Request Documents.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of IT procurement strategies.

Key Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, law or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand and budget planning & forecasting within complex enterprise global IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Application portfolio, suppliers and their solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
