About is  

We are looking for a skilled Multithreaded Java Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about building high-performance, concurrent systems and have solid experience with multithreaded programming in Java, we want to hear from you
As a Java Developer in our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and thread-safe server-side applications that operate in distributed environments.

This role requires a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week working from our office in Budapest.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Developing and maintaining multithreaded, Java-based backend systems – this will be the core focus of your technical work

  • Designing and optimizing complex, distributed system architectures

  • Managing a codebase of approximately 2 million lines, including extending it with new features

  • Using CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Kubernetes as part of our deployment processes

  • Proposing technical improvements, analyzing issues, and contributing to architectural decisions

  • Mentoring junior team members and helping raise the technical bar across the team

  • Collaborating with a global, diverse development team in an agile environmen

What will you need 

  • Strong Java expertise, with a focus on multithreading and concurrent programming

  • Experience in designing and optimizing distributed systems

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Terraform, and Kubernetes

  • Solid understanding of both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases

  • A responsible mindset, strong communication skills, and openness to knowledge sharing

  • System-level thinking and a solid foundation in software engineering best practices
