About Whitebox
For decades, B2B distributors have been trapped by legacy ERPs—suffering from failed projects, vendor lock-in, and software they can't even understand. Their most critical processes live in spreadsheets and people's heads. We believe that has to change.
At Whitebox, we're building the "Shopify for Wholesale"—a simple, powerful, and transparent platform that replaces outdated systems. We provide a tool that works on day one, combined with a workflow engine that makes business logic visible and manageable. We are an early-stage, well-funded startup looking for our first sales hire to build our go-to-market motion from the ground up.
The Role: What You'll Do
As our Account Executive, you will be more than a salesperson; you'll be a market-shaping consultant. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and the architect of our entire sales playbook.
- Own the full sales cycle
from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close. - Act as a
trusted advisor and consultant
to B2B distributors, helping them diagnose the deep-seated pain caused by their current systems. - Conduct
value-based discovery calls
to masterfully uncover operational challenges and map them to the Whitebox solution. - Build and manage a healthy pipeline of businesses that are a perfect fit for our vision.
- Be the voice of the customer
to the founding team, providing critical feedback that will shape the future of our product and company.
Who We're Looking For
- You have a proven track record of exceeding quota in a
B2B SaaS closing role. - You are a master of
discovery and value-based selling.
You sell by listening, not by talking. - You are genuinely curious about how businesses work and love diving into the weeds of operational workflows.
- You see the "broken ERP" problem and are excited by the challenge of selling a new, better paradigm.
- You are an entrepreneur at heart, thrilled by the idea of
building a sales playbook from scratch
and having a foundational impact.
