NN started its operations in Hungary in 1991 under the name Nationale-Nederlanden. In just 6 years, we became market leaders and continue to be a key player in the Hungarian life insurance market. To remain ahead of the competition, NN Insurance Hungary decided to accelerate investments in Data & AI and looking for talented professionals to join NN Hungary's team as a Product Owner. In this position, you'll be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team within the constraints of Data & AI goals and business strategy.

Responsibilities: 

  • Translates Data & AI strategy into squad-level plans, defines KPIs, sets sprint goals, and ensures alignment with broader objectives through collaboration and transparent communication;
  • Owns the product backlog, prioritizes tasks, defines user stories, and ensures readiness and quality of backlog items for upcoming iterations;
  • Understand and clarify customer, agent or colleagues needs; define and create use stories;
  • Organizes daily squad activities, aligns deliverables with Design Authority standards, and facilitates agile ceremonies while supporting PI Objective creation;
  • Works closely with CDO/PM and other leads, represents user needs, manages stakeholder expectations, and ensures alignment across teams and services;
  • Identifies and mitigates risks, ensures compliance, maintains transparency, and creates an environment conducive to effective risk control and reporting.

What matters to us: 

  • College/University degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Experience in managing Data & AI related processes or projects;
  • Specialized, deep knowledge of tools, products and services closely connected to Data & AI;
  • Has a solid understanding of users, the market place, the competitors and of future trends in Data & AI;
  • Knowledge of analytical skills and priorization methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the regulation of AI.
