About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your main responsibility is:
- Be responsible for investigating and dealing with all after-sales problems related to interior and exterior decoration of European export models.
- Be responsible for sorting out user habits and local special characteristics according to domestic demand.
- Set up communication mechanism and system process with the team in China.
- According to the strategic planning of the Division, complete the work of problem confirmation, quality improvement, technology upgrading, system and standardization during the use of domestic and foreign products in the global region, provide overseas information transmission and accumulation for domestic models, and assist the project team in various tasks in the global region.
- Research on new automotive technologies in Europe.
- Study of specific European regulations or requirements.
Your personal information:
- Bachelor degree or above, major: automobile, mechanical, material related.
- Proficient in the design requirements, working principles and material. characteristics of all products related to interior and exterior decoration.
- Familiar with UG, TC, EXCEL, WORD and other related software.
- Can solve work problems independently.
- Have the ability to summarize and explain the problem, can clearly describe the reasons for the loss in the report and summarize the research direction from the failure.
- English can be used as a working language.
- Team work spirit, excellent organization and communication skills.
