We are enlarging a scrum team (team-of-ten) in Budapest and looking for a Cloud Native Senior Developer as part of SAP Digital Manufacturing. We are developing a cloud-native, modular, integrated end-to-end manufacturing suite solution on BTP including planning and execution technology. As key pillar of our vision for an integration solution together with Success Factors to form a best-in-class offering for customers planning their workforce and shifts for the manufacturing execution process with high end UIs and Apps.

As a Cloud Native Senior Developer you will be part of our team developing product capabilities for the digital manufacturing cloud.  In this role you…

• plan, implement and test complex functionality together with product management, designers, experts and software architects (Frontend/Backend)
• use agile methodologies such as test-driven development and pair programming to ensure superior product quality
• research-oriented and innovative to real world problem solving, Agentic AI, Cloud, ML and so on should be interesting for you
• understand business requirements and turn into high quality technical designs with scalability and flexibility as well as implement the design
• move forward co-innovation with important global customers
• support your team by taking on DevOps- or other technical and organizational tasks 
• support your team by taking on Quality Engineering tasks such as monitoring and dispatching incidents, supporting for test creation and execution (manual and automated)
• take over scrum master activities to support daily, planning or review meetings

What you bring

• 5+ years' experience in Cloud Software Development 
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical disciplines 
• Advanced programming skills and rich experience in some of them: Java, Golang, SAPUI5, JavaScript, SQL, etc.  
• Deep knowledge at cloud development skills and common framework and open source  
• Experience in Agile development model and Scrum methodologies 
• Knowledge in LLM, Agentic AI or Machine Learning is a plus 
• Collaborative mindset with good communication skills allowing you to act as team player who can work closely with others, especially colleagues from different countries 
• SAP application or Digital Manufacturing knowledge and project experience is a plus 
• Fluent English knowledge in both spoken and written for
