Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and planning of LAN and cloud-based networking solutions (Azure and GCP)
  • Execute daily operational changes and configuration tasks on networking infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot LAN and cloud datacenter networks quickly and effectively
  • Maintain, configure, and monitor Palo Alto firewalls – experience with other vendors (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint is a plus)
  • Monitor IP networks and resolve performance issues
  • Lead or contribute to network-related projects ranging from simple to complex
  • Provide consultation and technical support to internal teams and external customers
  • Mentor junior colleagues and support knowledge transfer within the team
  • Participate in the 3rd-level on-call support rotation after the trial period

You Will Be Successful In This Role If You Have:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or Network Architect
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking services
  • Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Understanding of current technology trends in cloud networking and security
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation principles is a plus
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • A proactive, customer-focused, and team-oriented mindset
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to participate in 3rd-level on-call support on a weekly rotation basis

What Would Make You Stand Out (Nice to Have):

  • Cisco CCSP or similar certifications
  • Experience with Palo Alto or other firewall vendors
  • Previous international or cross-functional project experience
  • German language skills Shape

  • Education:
    Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Language:
    English (professional working proficiency)
