We are setting up two new scrum teams (team-of-ten) in Budapest and looking for a DevOps Engineer as part of one of the new scrum teams for SAP Logistics Management (SAP LGM). With SAP LGM we are developing a cloud-native, modular, integrated, network centric and AI driven end-to-end logistics suite solution on BTP including warehousing and transportation capabilities. As key pillar of our vision for an autonomous supply chain SAP LGM will be SAP's next generation, best-in-class offering for logistics execution and targets to offer fully integrated real-time end-to-end visibility, dynamic capacity management, prescriptive decision-making, proven automation and exception-based user interaction.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll..

• Take ownership of one or more microservices in collaboration with teammates
• Responsible for implementation, deployment, and operations of assigned microservices
• Continuously improve microservices based on production operations and feedback
• Apply DevOps principles to automate routine tasks and optimize service operations
• Closely collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Measure and monitor key metrics such as availability, latency, and overall system health
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and conduct post-mortem investigations
• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of services through ongoing monitoring and improvement

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in cloud software development
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical disciplines
• Hands on experience with account-, user- and service management on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google), ideally with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Hands on experience with setting up and monitoring Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ideally with SAP Piper and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Hands on experience with containerization and administering Kubernetes clusters, ideally with Gardener or SAP Kyma
• Hands on experience with version control via Git and GitHub
• Programming skills (Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, SAPUI5) are a plus
• Experience with (Linux) bash is a plus
• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) is a plus
• Working in a distributed, international and globally operating development organization
• Fluent English communication skills both spoken and written
