As a Software Engineer in Test you create automated functional and non-functional tests for our applications, aid developers in writing good unit tests, and take part in designing new systems with testability in mind.
This role offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid schedule of being in the office approximately three days per week.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the test coverage for various components of our BackEnd applications
- Improve the test framework with focus on maintainability, reliability and speed
- Support development team with emphasis on test automation
- Troubleshoot test failures
- Ensure FFT (Fast Follow Testing) test automation implementation and maintain coverage
- Develop test data to support automated testing with some exposure to manual testing
- Deliver non functional (performance) test
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering in test with a solid understanding of testing and test automation
- Strong understanding of at least one test framework (eg: Selenium, PlayWright, Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Sinon, pytest)
- Experience in at least one programming language, Python, TypeScript or Java preferred.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally with developers, product and QA.
- Experience with Git (Github) and CI/CD pipeline execution
- Strong understanding of services, API, Event testing
