About the department:

BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.

The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.

As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.

Your main responsibility is:

  • Proficient in Hungarian, English and Chinese, with strong business communication skills.;
  • Capable of organizing internal meetings, staff activities, annual events, training sessions, etc.
  • Familiar with daily affairs such as office space management (office supplies, document filing), administrative procurement, and fixed asset management;
  • Able to write or optimize the company's administrative management systems and procedures.
  • Capable of coordinating internal and external resources, handling emergencies, and maintaining professionalism and propriety.

Your personal information:

  • Fluent in Hungarian, English and Chinese;
  • Understand the work process of BYD, conduct in-depth analysis and solve complex problems;
  • Have a strong passion for the new energy vehicle industry;
  • Be highly motivated and also an active team member;
  • Have excellent organizational and coordination skills;
  • Be proficient in using software such as Word, Excel, and PPT;
