Our team belongs to the Group Data Centers department, which is responsible for the overall management of the central infrastructure located in KBC Group's data centers. The Data Center Floor Management team is responsible for data center services, from design to all physical IMACD activities (Installation, Move, Add, Change, Disposal of ICT Infrastructure) in data centers.

What your job will be:

• Daily support of KBC Group's data centers in Hungary and Central Europe towards internal customers and external suppliers.
• Installation of IT equipment in rack cabinets and connection of the necessary electrical cables.
• Patching cords (copper and optics)
• Physical configuration of devices (without logical configuration)
• Basic troubleshooting:
• turning a specific device on and off,
• finding cable connection errors,
• identifying, interpreting and reporting visible fault signals (LEDs, displays)
• Handling removable media.
• Supervise the work of external maintenance or troubleshooting professionals.
• Managing and moving inventory, tasks related to the receipt and removal of assets.
• Preparing and keeping an inventory up to date.

What we expect from You:

• Category B driver's license, own vehicle.
• Communicative English language skills in speech and writing.
• Secondary or higher education.
• Be interested in IT.
• Basics of IT network and server knowledge.
• Interpretation of technical drawings, plans and flowcharts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• User-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, HCL Notes.
• Effort to learn the use of KBC standard software.
• Performing telephone standby tasks, with rotation.
• Due to the high level of service provided to our customers, work may be necessary on weekends or holidays, as well.
• Work cannot be done from home office.
• 1 week of standby (on-call) per month.

Advantage

What you can expect during the recruitment process:

• After sending your CV in English, expect a three-round interview process, one online with our local recruiter, one online in English with the Belgian team leader, and the final round is in person at our office in our Data Center (in Hungarian) to get to know each other better.
