About the role
Are you passionate about nurturing young learners in a dynamic, play-based setting? Join our team as an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational learning journey of our students.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified and experienced EYFS Teacher to inspire and support our students in their early years. In this role, you will:
• Promote high expectations for all learners, encouraging a culture of limitless achievement.
• Design engaging, stimulating enabling learning environments both indoors and outdoors.
• Deliver teaching aligned with the Development Matters curriculum.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture, guiding learning through questioning, discussion, and meaningful high-quality interactions.
• Follow the Characteristics of Effective Learning, empowering them to reach their full potential.
• The ability to use online Learning Journals such as Tapestry.
• Implement innovative teaching practices that enhance the learning experience and outcomes and have recent training in current curriculum for EYFS.
• Contribute to the wider school community by leading co-curricular activities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be:
- Qualified and Experienced: Hold a degree and a recognised teaching qualification with substantial EYFS teaching experience.

- An Effective Communicator: Confidently engage with diverse audiences, including parents, students and colleagues.
The Teacher will aspire to the highest standards of professionalism and will, in particular:
- Generate excitement and passion for learning in students and the wider school community;
- Inspire trust and confidence in students, colleagues and parents;
- Engage and motivate students to strive for the highest achievement;
- Use technology in the classroom to enhance learning;
- Be relentless in the quest for excellence, using achievement and progress data and lesson observations to seek out and promote excellent teaching;
- Support continuity across all phases and contribute to the development of curriculum, pedagogy and teaching across the school;
- Continually strive to develop the quality of students' learning across the curriculum, particularly in relation to language development;
- Contribute to school improvement planning and the development of the curriculum;
- Develop and deploy curriculum, schemes and resources efficiently and effectively;
- Promote the school mission and values and those of the NAE family of schools.
Qualified to bachelor degree level or above.
Qualified Teacher Status.
Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent for countries lived in outside of the UK.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
Experience
Proven track record with at least two years' teaching experience.
Strong understanding of Early Childhood development.
Experience of working in a play-based Early Years environment.
Demonstrable evidence of innovating and adapting curriculum to engage children and enable them to perform highly.
Working in partnership with parents.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
Ability to engage children and enable them to perform highly.
Strong organisational skills and use of technology.
