Our partner is an international company operating in the hospitality and property management sectors, with a strong presence across numerous countries. They are looking for a new colleague to join their centrally located Budapest office. In this role, you will support the company's Hungarian accounting processes with flexible working hours, in close cooperation with the international headquarters.

Fixed Asset Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full accounting of fixed assets and intangible assets in compliance with accounting and tax regulations
  • Monitoring ongoing investments, ensuring proper capitalization and accounting treatment
  • Recording all transactions related to fixed assets (acquisitions, disposals, retirements)
  • Verifying and reconciling asset registers and inventories with general ledger data
  • Preparing financial reports and analyses to support management decisions
  • Supporting the daily operations of the accounting team and handling ad hoc tasks

Keys to Our Shared Success:

  • 3-4 years of experience in Fixed Asset accounting AND native Hungarian or bilingual proficiency – both essential for working with Hungarian accounting records and legislation
  • Active intermediate English language knowledge – written and spoken
  • Accuracy, precision, and ability to work independently
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advantage: experience with Oracle Fusion accounting system
