Your skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as data engineer or related roles.
  • RDBMS SAP ASE
    & DB2 experience with very high proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
  • Strong Python Development experience.
  • Strong Unix/Linux scripting
  • Good Problem solving & analytical skills
  • Full software development lifecycle understanding

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Design, develop and optimize data pipelines and backend systems using Python, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Build and maintain complex SQL solutions across Sybase and DB2, including stored procedures, functions and performance tuning of queries.
  • Collaborate accross the full software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.
  • Implement and enforce best practices in software and data engineering, ensuring reliability, performance and code quality.

About your contract:

  • Full time, indefinite contract.
  • Working hours: 40 hours/week, office hours (hybrid).
  • Legal requirements: You need to be to be currently eligible to work in Hungary.
