The position in a nutshell

Barion is looking for a dynamic
Product Owner
to lead the development of innovative fintech solutions. In this hybrid role, you'll own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital payment experiences. Ideal candidates have experience in agile environments, strong analytical skills, and a passion for solving real user problems in the fintech space.

Requirements

  • Experience in Product Ownership or Product Management
    (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or a fast-moving tech environment).
  • Agile & Scrum knowledge
    : You're comfortable working in iterative development cycles and be part of a scrum team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    : You can break down complex issues and find simple, effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills
    : You can seamlessly communicate with developers about tech and align with stakeholders on business goals
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
    : You balance competing needs and ensure the most impactful work gets done first.
  • Conversational English
    : Strong written and verbal English skills

Daily tasks

  • Owning the product roadmap like a captain steering a ship through fintech waters .
  • Prioritizing features and enhancements to ensure we deliver maximum value to our users.
  • Crafting clear and concise user stories and requirements that empower our developers to do their best work .
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Running backlog refinement sessions to keep priorities clear and the development process smooth .
  • Working closely with developers, designers, and other teams to ensure smooth execution and top-notch delivery .
  • Keeping a close eye on analytics, user feedback, and market trends to continuously improve the product .
  • Acting as the voice of the customer, making sure our solutions solve real problems in meaningful ways.
