Logistics Operations Associate

Position Summary:

A Logistics Operations Associate is responsible for executing delivery and logistics activities in a position that will be aligned by mode, ensuring on time shipment from the plants and on time delivery to the customer, coordinating and following-up the shipments from loading at the plants till arrival at the final place of delivery by keeping daily contacts with the freight forwarders.

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Responsible for day to day SAP transactions in addition to resolving any transportation delays, equipment challenges or other issues impacting on time delivery to the customer
• Coordinate transport related activities with stakeholders to ensure on time delivery to customer
  Proactively monitor open orders and deliveries to avoid and resolve issues at the earliest possible stage and mitigate impact
• Build and maintain relationships with business, sales, customer service, logistics procurement, product management and further functions
• Manage exceptions and emergency situations
• Assist with resolution of unexpected costs
• Handle, investigate, document and follow up of internal and external complaints

This position will interface with their counterpart in the order management team to meet productivity and quality metrics ensuring a seamless order-to-deliver process resulting in excellent customer service

What YOU will bring to the team:

• 1-3 years export/import transportation experience
• Fluent English
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Well organized and able to work independently and under pressure
• Solution-oriented mindset
