About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Banking & Finance Professional to join our dynamic team in Budapest. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals or recent graduates to build a strong foundation in banking and finance law while working on sophisticated transactions and matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, security documentation, and regulatory compliance matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on banking and finance-related issues
  • Support senior team members in client matters and transaction management
  • Review and draft finance documentation
  • Participate in client meetings and due diligence processes
  • Stay current with developments in banking and finance regulations

Requirements

Essential:

  • Hungarian law degree (required)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Fresh graduate or up to 1.5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated interest in banking and finance through:
  • Previous work experience in the field, OR
  • Academic credentials such as relevant coursework, specializations, or research in banking/finance law
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Previous internship experience in banking, finance, or related legal practice area
  • Proactive approach and eagerness to learn
