JOB SCOPE

This position is accountable for supporting Procurement Manager in procurement of goods and services through obtaining competitive quotes from reliable suppliers, coordinating with suppliers and respective user departments as well as negotiating the best offer to maximize the best advantage of the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure efficient purchase activities and deliveries, including but not limited to Food and Beverage items, Market list items, Inventory items, etc.
• Prepare documentation of relevant purchasing activities including price comparisons and market price surveys.
• Assist in coordination of all products and purchase specifications from respective user departments and suppliers.
• Conduct interviews as required by Procurement Manager with suppliers' representatives to obtain information, specifications, quotations and to negotiate to the best advantage of the Group.
• To well prepare and regularly update items master list and vendor list.
• Follow up outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery of required products.
• Maintain and update a library of catalogue, samples and price lists.
• Monitor suppliers' performance and product quality
• Prepare weekly/monthly accounts payable reports
• Manage supplier invoices with Finance for processing
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' purchasing experience gained from the preferably hospitality industry
• Strong negotiation skills with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in CheckSCM or similar applications
• Experience in inventory control and cost management is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English and Magyar
• Proficient in MS application such as Excel, Word and Chinese word processing
• Normal business working hours – Monday to Friday
