What role will you play in our team

As a key part of the Global Business Solutions organization, the Financial Close, Consolidation, and External Reporting Department delivers financial services to over 200

affiliates across the EMEA region. We are currently seeking an experienced Local Statutory Financial Reporting Advisor to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of experience in financial statement reporting and analysis, along with a solid understanding of international accounting

standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.

What you will do

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with applicable GAAP and internal company policies.

Execute year-end close activities, including US GAAP to IFRS or local GAAP adjustments, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Compile the full annual report, including financial statements, accompanying notes, the strategic report, and the directors' report.

Coordinate local statutory audits with external auditors and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate audit completion.

Present financial results and key insights to the Board of Directors and other senior stakeholders.

Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within the financial reporting cycle.

Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

About you: skills and qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, or Finance.

5–10 years of experience in financial statement reporting and journal preparation.

Deep understanding of financial accounting principles, with solid knowledge of international reporting standards such as US GAAP or IFRS.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong communication skills.

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and maintaining data integrity.
