Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be a key player in an agile, cross-functional team of 7 engineers. You'll take ownership of complex projects, mentor teammates, and drive the development of AI-assisted tools that make creating presentation-ready slides effortless.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, modular features for our plugin-based architecture.
  • Leverage generative AI to deliver stunning, presentation-ready outputs.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Graphics Designers to create seamless visual editing workflows.
  • Maintain a high-performance codebase, ensuring reliability under varying hardware and network conditions.
  • Contribute to the vision and architecture of team-level components, making well-reasoned design decisions and identifying trade-offs.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in software development, with deep expertise in statically typed programming languages (TypeScript, Java, C#, or C++).
  • Proven ability to scope initiatives, mentor teammates, and drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficient in debugging, system design, and optimizing performance-critical systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a product-focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • A genuine interest in product design and user experience.

Bonus Points For

  • Expertise in prompt engineering or generative AI models.
  • Advanced education in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Frontend web application development experience.
  • Familiarity with concurrency, memory optimization, or performance-critical systems.
