Description

We're looking for a skilled Core Lab Engineer to contribute to the development and verification of cutting-edge private wireless solutions. You'll work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and design and deliver tailored solutions using our cutting-edge technology while maintaining and developing our state-of-the-art laboratories.

Responsibilities

As part of hands-on work, you'll also be responsible for installing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting the MPS R&D Products Labs nodes located globally.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant telecom experience in the IP/MPLS domain, working with service providers (SP) offering mobile and enterprise services.
  • Advanced practical knowledge of IP technical solutions, including:  IPv4, IPv6, routing and switching, MPLS, segment routing, services: L2 VPN, L3 VPN
  • Hands-on experience in configuring routers/switches.
  • Proficiency in IP Requirement Analysis, Solution Architecture, and Design
  • Good practical knowledge of IP Switches/Routers
  • Develop HLD/LLD for medium-high complexity network requirements, capacity planning, network interface analysis, and provide overall engineering support. 
  • Consult and independently develops configuration file, capacity planning, network. interface analysis and design, and overall engineering support based on ongoing traffic trends. 
  • Prepare configuration for new network elements for live and testing.
  • Troubleshooting activities for live network problems or issues found during acceptance.
  • Firewall handling is a plus
  • Enjoys developing our labs to meet all customer and internal requirements
  • Fluent in English, enjoys problem solving and teamwork

The role involves some travel to customer sites, allowing you to gain valuable hands-on experience.
