Machine Learning Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our in-house LLM-powered chatbot technologies through active research and development. You will be working on the knowledge ingesting and ML-based analytics of the ingested data. The following points may give you a good overview of specific tasks:

• Technological Vision: Contribute to developing and articulating the technological vision for our in-house chatbot knowledge ingestion, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
• Core Development: Hands-on contribute to the chatbot knowledge ingestion and monitoring.
• Research and Experimentation: Track and experiment with advancements in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies and evaluation techniques, integrating relevant findings into our work.
• Research Engagement: Participate in bi-weekly machine learning paper review meetings, staying abreast of the latest developments and integrating relevant findings into our work.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning and/or data engineering projects, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
• Proven experience in implementing LLM-based solutions in production environments, with a deep understanding of the associated challenges and best practices
• Proficiency in Python and its data wrangling libraries (e.g., Pandas).
• Good understanding of standard ML algorithms.
• Sound understanding of software design principles.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Quick to grasp new technologies and concepts, staying ahead in a rapidly evolving field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in English
