We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist:

A platform providing ride-hailing, delivery, and mobility-related services

Project Description:

This team focuses on developing and optimising address search and geocoding services, ensuring that users can efficiently find accurate and relevant locations. Their scope includes query understanding, geocoding, hybrid search, and enhancing prediction accuracy for pickup and drop-off locations using advanced ML models.

Technology Stack: Python, Go (plus), SQL, Kafka / Spark / Flink, PostGIS / ElasticSearch

Project Phase: ongoing

Hard Skills / Must Have:


• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Operations Research


• 5+ years of industry experience as an ML Engineer, Applied Scientist, Data Scientist, or equivalent


• Proficiency in MLOps tools for managing the ML model lifecycle


• Familiarity with technologies from internal technical guidelines (e.g., Golang)


• Experience with event systems and deployment environments for maintaining DS-powered services in production


• Proficiency in Python and Python frameworks for streaming, batch, and asynchronous data processing


• Familiarity with the Geo and Maps ML domain


• Expertise in multiple ML domains such as CV or NLP


• Deep expertise in classic ML and deep learning techniques with advanced mathematical understanding


• Experience with ML system design and MLOps practices for production environments


• Strong understanding of software system design principles


• Experience in experimental design to validate hypotheses


• Knowledge of security, risk, and control concepts in production systems

Responsibilities and Tasks:


• Design ML systems from scratch with data analysis, annotation, and processing in multiple research areas or multimodal scenarios


• Lead data preparation and calculations across all system stages


• Translate business metrics into engineering or science problems


• Take ownership of the end-to-end DS product lifecycle including pipelines, implementation, A/B testing, and rollout


• Develop innovative services to enhance map accuracy and coverage


• Work on Geo domain topics including search and relevance optimization, personalization, and multilingual support


• Optimize ETA and route accuracy


• Collaborate on Geo data curation including ingestion pipelines, anomaly detection, and data reliability


• Conduct location prediction and management tasks


• Perform geospatial analysis and extract insights
