Join a forward-thinking team dedicated to advancing privacy and data protection across a global organization. As a Privacy Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in implementing privacy policies, supporting compliance efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data is handled responsibly and transparently. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports regulatory alignment and builds trust with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day privacy operations and implementation of privacy policies and practices across the organization.
- Coordinate data subject rights (DSR/DSAR) intake, triage, and fulfillment in accordance with legal timelines.
- Manage and maintain Onetrust, including configurations, workflows, and reporting.
- Respond customers' questions and RFPs with respect to our privacy compliance practice.Assist with privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPAs), including external offerings and internal projects.
- Support incident response processes and documentation of privacy-related events.
- Maintain records of processing activities (ROPAs) and other compliance documentation.
- Help monitor changes in global privacy regulations and assist in operationalizing updates.
- Collaborate with teams such as Legal, Security, IT, and Product to embed privacy into projects and workflows.
- Prepare and present privacy metrics and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Compliance, Information Security, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or operations roles, in related industry (e.g., electronics, software, cloud services)
- Familiarity with the EU GDPR and knowledge of cybersecurity concepts or data governance practices.
- Experience working with privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, team spirit
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Privacy certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a related industry .supporting audits or compliance assessments.
