Senior Solutions Architect

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect (AI) to join our team.

What (exactly) will you do?

As a Senior Solutions Architect (AI), you'll act as the technical expert supporting Datapao's sales efforts — helping customers understand how our data science and AI solutions can address their challenges. You'll bridge Sales and Delivery, ensuring a smooth handover, maintaining continuity, and keeping the engagement aligned with the customer's original goals.

Sales Support

• Drive customer calls and discovery sessions to uncover technical needs and guide solution design

• Lead scoping discussions and contribute to proposal creation with precise technical input.

• Develop and deliver demos or proof-of-concepts that showcase Datapao's data science or Databricks' platform capabilities.

Customer & Account Engagement

• Build long-term relationships as a trusted technical advisor for assigned accounts.

• Track customer goals and evolving use cases, identifying new opportunities.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to surface upsell or expansion opportunities from ongoing projects.

Delivery Quality

• Stay connected with active projects to support technical consistency and alignment with goals.

• Lead project syncs and help identify risks early, assisting in mitigation planning.

• Provide technical guidance and maintain alignment between sales and delivery.

Sales Process Optimization

• Improve how we scope and sell technical work by refining playbooks, templates, and processes.

• Improve tooling used for scoping and automate estimation where possible.

• Share best practices and insights to continuously improve our technical sales approach.

Solution Development & Technical Validation

• Contribute to the design and go-to-market strategy of Datapao's packaged and repeatable solutions.

• Develop bespoke go-to-market solutions.

• Provide technical input and validation for proposed data science solutions to ensure soundness and scalability.

Marketing & Thought Leadership

• Create technical content (blogs, demos, reference architectures, solution guides) that supports awareness and lead generation.

• Serve as a technical advocate and thought leader, strengthening Datapao's technical credibility across customers and the Databricks ecosystem.

• Represent Datapao at industry events, meetups, conferences, and Databricks field events, delivering demos, talks, and technical sessions.

• Drive the development of materials that highlight Datapao's expertise and customer success.

Soft Skills

• Strong consulting mindset and passion for customer success — you advise and guide customers toward the best-fit technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills — you can clearly explain data science concepts to both business and technical audiences.

• Ability to translate business needs into data science solutions and communicate trade-offs confidently.

• Proactive ownership — you're comfortable leading technical discussions, identifying gaps, and driving clarity in complex sales situations.

• Fluent in English and willing to travel occasionally (mainly within the EU, up to ~10%).

Tech stack

• Strong background in Data Science and ML concepts, including familiarity with Generative AI state-of-the-art solutions, current limitations, recent and upcoming changes, and modern frameworks/libraries.

• Solid Python skills and understanding of common DS/ML libraries.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and their data-source connectivity patterns (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Databricks AI/BI), as well as experience with distributed computing (Spark) and MLOps.

• Experience with Databricks is a plus.

For this role, our gross salary ranges from gr. 1,700,000 to 2,300,000 HUF.
