NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary's team as a Data Scientist. In this position you'll actively apply the best available technological solutions with the aim of ensuring that NN's business objectives are achieved. You will need to have in-depth professional knowledge of building predictive and descriptive models, including the application of AI technologies.

Responsibilities: 

  • Play a key role in the development, deployment and communication of use cases;
  • Recognize and define the business needs and give data science solution for them;
  • Write complex queries in SQL and make data transformations;
  • Create predictive and descriptive models, including ML & DL solutions, in order to give useful and valuable insights for business development to achieve company goals;
  • Develop, finetune and evaluate Generative AI applications, including agentic AI solutions for business development and automation purposes;
  • Collaborate with the data engineers and data alaysts in order to produce: accurate reports and data models to support business decisions.

What matters to us: 

  • College/University degree preferably in Business, Economics, IT or STEM;
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar positions;
  • Fluent English;
  • Complex knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI;
  • Expert in Python coding language and fundamentals of coding standards;
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and Power BI;

Advantage:

  • Experience in insurrance or financial sector;
  • Java coding knowledge.
