We are looking for a Software Engineer with deep frontend development knowledge who seeks challenge, focuses on engineering craftsmanship, quality, and innovation, and has a sense of urgency to increase the quality of mobile apps worldwide.

Our Clients vary from small, startup-like teams to the world's largest enterprises with large user-base applications. Therefore, our product area is quite complex and challenging. With your help, we aim to make mobile development as smooth and fast as possible in their day-to-day operations.

You'll work in one of our dynamic, self-governing, cross-functional teams with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, and fellow Software Engineers. You'll spend most of your time crafting UIs using React and our own BitKit Design System. As a member of Engineering, you'll also participate in cross-team collaboration projects and be invited to share your ideas to make Bitrise an even better experience for our Customers.

The gross monthly salary for these roles are:

  • Medior: HUF
  • Senior: 1,735,000-2,360,000 HUF
  • Staff: 1,890,000-2,570,000 HUF

As a Frontend Engineer at Bitrise you will

  • Be an integral part of your product engineering team
  • Make and influence vital architectural decisions
  • Optimize, test, and continuously improve our product
  • Implement new Bitrise features in React based on Figma designs
  • Improve engineering developer experience and efficiency
  • Actively shape and contribute to Bitrise's technical strategy

Key skills and characteristics

  • Several years of experience building frontend applications
  • Sense for great UI/UX
  • Extensive experience in React
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience in backend development, enabling you to work with a full-stack mindset
  • Experience with testing libraries on every level (e2e, component, unit)
  • Cross-team collaboration experience and willingness to mentor others
  • Initiative to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the table
  • Fluent communication skills in verbal and written English

What would really knock our socks off

  • Experience with frontend application performance profiling and optimization
  • You created an open-source project, and you are still an avid and active contributor
  • Experience with migrating and/or rebuilding legacy codebase
  • You have worked with Ruby and/or Go backend services
  • Public speaking and/or writing experience
