AOC Business and Operations Analytics Manager 

Based in Budapest 

Purpose of the role

AOC Business and Operations Analytics Manager drives strategic planning, performance management, and cost optimization initiatives for Wizz Air. The role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of aviation operations, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration to align operational goals with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop the annual operations plan, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and cost targets  
  • Collaborate across departments to establish operational goals and implement cost-saving initiatives  
  • Monitor and analyze monthly performance against the operating plan  
  • Provide insights and recommendations for corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets  
  • Oversee costs and spending across operational areas, conducting in-depth variance analyses  
  • Identify root causes of deviations from the operating plan and oversee corrective measures with the respective business owners  
  • Identify, prioritize, and coordinate projects to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness  
  • Drive standardization initiatives across operational areas to enhance efficiency  
  • Foster collaboration and communication among operational departments for a cohesive approach  
  • Collaborate with IT and BI teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality  
Experience
  • 3-5+ years overall working experience, with 2+ years of relevant experience  
  • Proven experience in business planning, performance management, and cost analysis, preferably in the aviation industry 
Hard skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 
  • Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office 
Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Aviation Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 

Language

Fluent spoken / written English
