POSITION - PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
We are looking for a
Production Scheduler
to plan production schedules based on forecasts and sales orders while optimizing resource utilization. This role ensures efficient production flow by minimizing changeovers, securing material availability in collaboration with supply planners, and meeting demand planning requirements. Acting as a key contact for the production team, the Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in balancing operational efficiency with finished goods availability.

What You Will Do

• Analyze product demand, ensuring alignment between firm plans, sales orders, and safety stock, while maintaining accuracy in the MRP system.
• Create, update, and manage production orders, ensuring timely execution and adherence to KPIs.
• Coordinate with supply planners and warehouse teams to secure material availability, prevent shortages, and avoid production disruptions.
• Optimize resource allocation, production line efficiency, and capacity planning while contributing to SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) meetings.
• Support new product introductions, process improvements, and production transfers, ensuring seamless implementation.
• Based on operational needs, occasional support for supply planning activities.

WHO You Are

• Preferably College or University degree in Economics, Logistics or relevant area
• Experience in a small to mid-size international company in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management is an advantage.
• Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems and production workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles.
• Good level of English, fluent in Hungarian.
