Team/Role Overview

The Inter-Affiliate Support Team handles various third party risk management related activities for our internal third parties. The team collaborates with both local and global teams to make sure that each of the Third Party Relationships under the Service Provider are being appropriately onboarded and then monitored in compliance with Citi's Third Party Management Policy and all the applicable regulations.

What you'll do

  • Deep Expertise: Help develop a center of excellence with expertise in both TPM and HR's Inter-Affiliate service catalog across business lines and countries.
  • Process Transformation: Analyze the current business model and re-engineer processes for optimized efficiency and a best-in-class risk framework.
  • Billing Expertise: Partner with Finance to ensure accurate billing for HR services within the Allocation Processing System (APS). This requires a deep understanding of cost allocation processes.
  • Audit & Regulatory Support: Assist HR Control Team in obtaining deliverables for audits and regulatory exams. Reduce burden on individual HR teams and ensures consistent responses
  • Oversee and execute the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks
  • Independently assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices
  • Participate with senior leadership meetings to analyze documentation and processes to ensure risks and control points are properly addressed
  • Assist senior level management in gathering data and information for executive level reporting and to take ownership of specified projects and tasks
  • Build trusted internal and external customer relationships

What we'll need from you

  • 5-8 years of working experience, preferably in Third Party Operational Risk
  • University/College degree
  • Excellent verbal and written English, additional language capabilities a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong PC skills in Excel, Word.
  • Minimum 1 year of Operational Experience including delivering in a high-volume, goal-based production/operations-based environment
