Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines for processing large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems.
- Build solutions to handle real-time streaming data from multiple sources.
- Develop and manage knowledge graph data structures to enhance AI applications.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to design AI-driven data solutions.
- Create data infrastructure tailored for advanced AI workflows in healthcare, space exploration, and financial technology.
- Explore and implement innovative data engineering techniques for complex AI challenges.
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance mechanisms.
- Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in data engineering, AI, and industry trends.
- Proactively improve and optimize existing processes, tools, and systems.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, AI-related projects, or predictive modeling.
- Strong Python programming skills (Java or C# is a plus).
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with knowledge graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, RDF, GraphQL).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of data architecture and pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Experience deploying AI/ML models in a product-focused development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for working with complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Experience with predictive maintenance projects.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and neural networks.
- Experience developing deployable AI/ML models in an agile environment.
