IT Business Consultant – Sales & Distribution, Logistics, Execution and Transportation Management

This role offers the opportunity to join our global ERP and Finance Services team, based in the modern Budapest HUB office. Our team is dedicated to supporting, maintaining, and advancing strategic, business-critical IT systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for our business stakeholders.

Nilfisk is embarking on an ambitious journey to revolutionise our business through technological innovation. Our ERP programme is central to this effort, aiming to consolidate twelve legacy ERP systems into a unified, future-proof platform built on SAP S/4HANA, complemented by a robust second-tier ERP solution. This transformation will empower our global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and customer service, fostering agility, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and driving operational excellence.

As an IT Business Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and support of solutions within the SAP Sales & Distribution, Logistics Execution (LE) and Transportation Management (TRA) modules. Your focus will be on enhancing business functionality and overall performance while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. Together with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, you will deliver value-adding recommendations, solutions and facilitate continuous process optimization.

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of IT Business Consultants within the IT & Digital organization supporting our internal customers and end-users on a global scale with special focus to the Americas time zone.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitate development of User Requirements Specifications.
• Participating in the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and second-tier ERP rollout.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or application enhancements in close collaboration with Functional Leads for SD & LE-TRA.
• Act as liaison between business and development team.
• Test planning and execution.
• Configuration management.
• Fit/gap analysis.
• Development of documentation (Design Specification, Business Blueprint, Functional Specification etc).

What we are looking for:

• Experience or strong interest in working with Freight management tool ShipERP or similar logistics solutions
• Proven understanding of SAP Logistics Execution (LE), Transportation Management (TRA) and Sales & Distribution modules
• Familiarity of the dependencies to other SAP modules and consequences
• Experience with SAP implementations
• Knowledge of Pricing
• Understanding of interface to carriers
• Ability to read ABAP codes is required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A growth mindset, collaborative approach, and passion for delivering business value
