We are setting up two new scrum teams (team-of-ten) in Budapest and looking for a Senior Cloud Native Developer as part of one of the new scrum teams for SAP Logistics Management (SAP LGM). With SAP LGM we are developing a cloud-native, modular, integrated, network centric and AI driven end-to-end logistics suite solution on BTP including warehousing and transportation capabilities. As key pillar of our vision for an autonomous supply chain SAP LGM will be SAP's next generation, best-in-class offering for logistics execution and targets to offer fully integrated real-time end-to-end visibility, dynamic capacity management, prescriptive decision-making, proven automation and exception-based user interaction.

As a Senior Cloud Native Developer you will be part of our team developing Supply Chain-product capabilities for the cloud.

In this role you'll

• plan, implement and test product-wide or complex together with product management, designers, experts and software architects using Java, SAP UI5, JavaScript, AI, etc. (Frontend/Backend)
• provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• research oriented and innovative to real world problem solving, Agentic AI, Cloud, ML and so on should be interesting for you
• understand business requirements and turn into high quality technical designs with scalability and flexibility as well as implement the design
• move forward co-innovation e.g. AI-based solutions with important global customers
• support your team by taking on Quality Engineering tasks such as monitoring and dispatching incidents, supporting test creation and execution (manual and automated)

What you bring

You work very well within a team and use your communication skills to drive topics with analytical and conceptual strength. In a constantly changing environment, you're flexible and can easily adapt to new situations in your daily work.

You have

• 5+ years' experience in Cloud Software Development
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical disciplines
• Advanced programming skills and rich experience in some of them: Java, SAPUI5, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
• Deep knowledge at cloud development skills and common framework and open source
• Experience in Agile development model and Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge in LLM, Agentic AI or Machine Learning is a plus
• Collaborative mindset with good communication skills allowing you to act as team player who can work closely with others, especially colleagues from different countries
• SAP application or Supply Chain knowledge and project experience is a plus
• Fluent English knowledge in both spoken and written for
