The collection features Damas Suites for stylish, comfortable stays, Damas Café for artisanal coffee and curated bites, and the Damas Restaurant, specialising in modern Levantine fine dining inspired by Syrian heritage.

Role Description

This is a full-time/ part-time, on-site role for a Hostess at Damas Restaurant in Budapest. The Hostess will oversee the welcoming of guests, manage reservations, and ensure smooth seating arrangements while providing a warm and professional guest experience. The role also involves maintaining communication with the service staff, handling inquiries, and upholding the high standard of service excellence that defines Damas.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanour
  • Experience with Reservations and ability to manage booking systems
  • Exceptional Communication skills, including clear and professional in-person and written communication
  • Customer Service expertise with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and handling inquiries effectively
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Hungarian and/ or Arabic, are a plus
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar guest-facing role
