Tasks

  • Design and evolve secure, scalable Azure architectures and guide key decisions on cloud platforms and patterns.
  • Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migrations and the modernization of legacy services.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM, ensuring fully automated provisioning and deployments.
  • Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps, GitLab, and similar toolchains.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of cloud platforms while driving incident response and continuous operational improvements.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability practices using Azure-native tools and complementary third-party solutions.
  • Enforce cloud security standards, manage access controls, secrets, and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational compliance requirements.
  • Define governance structures, tagging models, and cost-optimization strategies to maintain efficient and well-managed cloud environments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, security, and DevOps teams to support delivery processes and platform evolution.
  • Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and proactively introduce new technologies and improvements into the cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Hands-on cloud expertise (Azure, Azure Stack HCI, file services).
  • Experience with IaC frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of DevOps practices and delivery pipelines.
  • Container technology know-how (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks (Azure-native or open-source).
  • Experience across virtualization, storage, compute, networking, backups.
