Your Team Responsibilities

We are a team that is specialized in developing sophisticated full-stack solutions for clients. We create comprehensive frontend and backend applications that provide detailed insights into indexes and support the entire lifecycle of index development. We are closely linked with clients and a broad variety of internal teams, following agile methodologies to stay aligned with business goals. We own our timelines and play a key role in setting the project's agenda.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Take full ownership of development.
• Play pivotal role in evolving enterprise-grade applications in line with internal quality standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate within a focused team to develop various web-based products.
• Clearly and promptly communicate issues, obstacles, and impediments.
• Engage with external stakeholders, such as Index Research, Custom Index Operations, Product Management, Project Management, and technology groups, to align with business requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback, and implementing improvement plans when necessary.

Your Skills And Experience That Will Help You Excel

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and in one of the major frameworks (React, , Angular).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Java and/or Python, along with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and principles of object-oriented and/or functional programming.
• Experience with RESTful services and effective integration into web applications.
• Emphasis on code quality, writing clean, maintainable code covered with automated tests.
• Familiarity with distributed systems; experience in the financial domain is a plus.
• DevOps mindset, with awareness that code will run in Azure or GCP cloud environments, and ability to develop and configure software components according to the latest standards.
• Familiarity and experience with AI-related technologies and tools is beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and collaborate well with others.
• Capability to manage own tasks and thrive in a team setting.
• Proactive attitude and positive outlook.
• Experience in managing or contributing to software projects, understanding timelines, and deliverables.
