About the Role

Chief Financial Officer or CFO has to perform effective risk management and plan the organization's financial strategy.

The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excllent leader and work well with other key functional departments. Experience in food plant operations is a must. Provide a positive team oriented environment for Popz but at the same time demand a performance-based evaluation of key management positions.

The goal is to protect the company's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the company's financial planning
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and optimize Popz capital structure
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
  • Supervise all finance personnel (controllers,treasurers, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Prepare reliable current reports within 10 working days of the month end and insure all forecasts are done in a timely manner
  • Set up and oversee the company's finance and IT system and insure that it is both efficient and effective requiring as few people as possible
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies
  • Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts

Qualifications

  • Experience in food plant operations is a must.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and experience with Popz financial management software (Microsoft Business Central) is a plus
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Experience in food plant operations and the use of standard costing systems to track plant performance
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong financial management knowledge
  • Excellent communications and people skills
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
  • CPA is a strong advantage and a BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is required , MSc/MBA is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in investment and banking operations.
