Senior Global Mdical Advisor
ResponsibilitiesAct as key medical responsible counterpart for WHC products, inculding medical devices as well as OTC/food supplement portfolio in WHC, act as responsible MedAff counterpart and provide medical input into portfolio management in line with the company strategy Manage all relevant aspects of the Rx, OTC and medical device regulations, and own the resulting Deep knowledge and understanding of Medical Affairs in WHC and respective medical devices, including standard of care, unmet medical need, scientific literature, competitive landscape, expert opinion, and development precedents Medical/clinical strategy: participation in developing the R&D strategy for WHC Other potential tasks related to the activities in WHC team appointed by the unit head based on the qualification and previous professional experience Understand, embrace and ensure compliance to relevant medical device Quality Systems, understand, embrace and ensure compliance to relevant government and industry regulations. Conceptualization of development pathways and stragegies for devices as well as for OTC products (e.g. clinical development plan in accordance to MDR regualation), in alignment with internal stakeholders Evaluate current processes & procedures and implement new reglations and necessary additions for medical devices as well as for non-prescription products. Evaluation of potential projects/products for the respective part of the portfolio for in-licencing, medical interpretation of clinical and pre-clinical data Provide medical support and oversight throughout the LCM of the non-pharma portfolio Preparation of innovative medical scientific concepts reflecting all actions and recommendations associated to the WHC Medical Lead's assigned tasks and responsibilities. Your profile
MD, clinical experience (5 years +) in WH as well as clinical development expertise. Exerience with medical devices is a plus Fluent in English (business and professional) Accuracy, flexibility, high level of self-management and able to work independant; good networking capabilities; excellent communication and presentation skills, Responsibility, cooperation, problem-solving, quality-, and process-oriented approach, resilience, knowledge of scientific research methodology, literature research methodology and device development process with an emphasis on clinical trials.
