What You'll Do
As an Expert Developer, you will design and develop Intelligent Apps and Data Products within the Business Data Cloud Platform. You will explore the latest data lake technology offered by SAP based on Delta Share and HANA Spark. You will work on all aspects of data and analytics including extraction from source systems from our lines of business, storage, enrichment, visualization, and AI usage. All this with the background of defining best practices and documenting how to use our technology to spread the information throughout the company.

Product Development – design and build Intelligent Apps and Data Products that enable our customers to seamlessly realize the value of their enterprise data in well-defined business use cases

Quality and Maintainability – ensure high quality and maintainability with programming methods, asset reuse, and large-scale patterns

Productivity – identify opportunities to leverage automation and other techniques to increase your capacity without jeopardizing quality

Prototyping and exploration – work with small teams to explore technology concepts and validate approaches

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business informatics or related field
• 7+ years of experience in a large-scale data and analytics development environment
• Experience with Python, Delta Share, Spark, Docker
• Solid technical background with ability to execute independently and share best practices with others
• Experience in data lake technologies, data engineering and analytics
• Knowledge of SAP Business Applications ia plus (S/4HANA, HCM, ISBN, CX)
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP HANA or similar analytics/data warehousing environmen
